What to include in your enquiry
Tell us what you are shipping, the origin and destination, and your deadline. Include dimensions, weight, and whether the goods are temperature-sensitive or hazardous. If you have a preferred port or carrier, mention it. The more detail you give, the fewer follow-up questions we need before we can quote.
01 — Cargo and commodity
What the goods are, how they are packed, and whether anything needs temperature control or a hazardous-goods declaration.
02 — Origin and destination
Pickup and delivery points, plus any preferred Belgian port or inland terminal if you already have one in mind.
03 — Dimensions and weight
Approximate figures are fine at this stage. They decide the mode, the equipment and how the cargo is stacked.
04 — Deadline and flexibility
Tell us the date the goods must move, and whether that date is fixed or there is room to plan a cheaper sailing.
05 — Papers you already hold
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, safety data sheet or certificates — send what exists and we will tell you what is missing.
Enquiry form
The form asks for your name, contact details, and a short description of the cargo and route. It is the quickest way to get the details to the right person. We use it only to respond to your enquiry.
See our privacy policy for how we handle your data.
Prefer not to use the form?
Email the team at [email protected] or call +32 9 981 59 03 during Belgian business hours.
What happens after you send it
We review the cargo details and check the routing options. Then we reply with a suggested plan, a mode, and the documents you will need to prepare. If your cargo needs special handling or inspections, we will say so at this stage.
Most enquiries get a first response within one to two business days. Urgent bookings are best flagged in the first message so we can prioritise them.
-
1
We read the cargo details
Weight, dimensions, handling needs and deadline are the first things we check.
-
2
We compare routing options
Ports, modes and schedules are weighed against your deadline and budget.
-
3
We reply with a plan
You get a suggested mode, an outline of the route, and the documents to prepare.
Documents you can send
If you already have a commercial invoice, packing list, or bill of lading, send them with your enquiry. They help us understand the consignment faster. For hazardous goods, include the safety data sheet. For food or plant products, mention any certificates you hold.
You do not need everything to start. Send what exists, and we will tell you what is missing before the booking is confirmed.
- Commercial invoice Shows the value and description of the goods for customs.
- Packing list Confirms how many pieces, cartons or pallets are in the consignment.
- Bill of lading Useful if the goods have already been booked or are in transit.
- Safety data sheet Required reading for anything classified as hazardous.
- Certificates Phytosanitary or health papers for food and plant products.
Recurring shipments
If you ship regularly, tell us roughly how often and what volumes. We can set up a repeatable plan so each booking does not start from zero. That saves time and usually improves the routing as we learn your flows.
Mention if your volumes or destinations change seasonally, because that affects the plan.
Quick answers before you write
A few things people ask us most often before sending a first enquiry. If your question is not here, put it in the form and we will answer it with the quote.
What should I write in the first email? Open
Tell us what the goods are, where they are coming from and going to, and when they need to move. Dimensions, weight and any handling requirements come next. If you already have a preferred port or carrier, say so and we will work with it.
How fast will you reply? Open
Most enquiries get a first response within one to two business days. If your deadline is tight, mark it clearly at the top of your message so it is handled first.
Do I need every document before contacting you? Open
No. Send what you already have. We will review it and tell you which papers are still missing before the shipment is booked.
Can you handle temperature-controlled or hazardous cargo? Open
Tell us the classification and temperature range in your first message. Cargo that needs special handling or inspections is flagged early so the right equipment and paperwork are arranged before booking.
Where can I read about your services first? Open
The Ocean Freight & Forwarding and Customs & Compliance pages explain what we handle day to day. For storage and inland movement, see Hinterland Distribution & Warehousing.
