Acceptance of terms
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors and users, whether you are reading about our services or sending an enquiry about a shipment.
Agreement to these website terms is separate from any commercial agreement. Using the site does not by itself place you in a customer relationship with Pacific Ocean Shipping & Solutions, and it does not commit either side to any transport, forwarding or warehousing work.
Use of the site
You may use this site to learn about our services and to submit shipment enquiries. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation. Content on the site is provided for general information.
- Reading about ocean freight, customs, warehousing and sector flows is open to everyone.
- Sending an enquiry, uploading nothing sensitive and keeping your details accurate helps us answer faster.
- Automated scraping, bulk copying of page content, or any attempt to disrupt the site is not permitted.
General information on this site describes typical services and processes. It is not a rate confirmation, a transit-time promise, or a statement of customs treatment for a specific consignment.
Enquiries and quotes
Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. Any quote or route plan we provide is based on the information you supply and may change if that information changes. A contract for services is formed only when both parties agree in writing.
What a quote usually depends on
Cargo type and weight, port pair or inland address, required dates, Incoterms, packaging, and whether customs or warehousing work is included. If any of these change, the quoted routing and cost can change with them.
What is not covered by a quote
Duties, taxes, demurrage, storage, inspections or charges raised by third parties are handled separately unless the written agreement says otherwise.
Keep the enquiry details as complete and accurate as you can. Route planning, customs preparation and warehouse bookings all start from the same information, so corrections made later in the process can affect timing and cost.
Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text and branding, belongs to Pacific Ocean Shipping & Solutions or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission, except for personal reference.
Quoting a short passage with a clear reference to this website is normally fine for reviews, tenders or internal briefings. Republishing pages, reusing photographs, or presenting our descriptions as your own service documentation is not.
Limitation of liability
We aim to keep the information on this site accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete or current at all times. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on site content. This does not affect liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.
Transport, forwarding and warehousing work is governed by the agreement signed for that work, together with the liability rules that apply to it. Where a page on this site describes a process, treat it as orientation rather than as the contractual wording.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Check their terms and policies before using them.
Links are provided because they may be useful when you prepare a shipment, for example when checking a port authority page or a carrier schedule. A link does not mean we endorse what sits behind it, and it does not extend these terms to that website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from use of this site is subject to the jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the remaining sections continue to apply. Should you have a complaint about the website itself, contact us first so we can look at it before any formal step is taken.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
The version published here on 5 November 2026 is the one that applies while you are using the site. If a change affects how enquiries are handled, we will say so on this page rather than leave you comparing older copies.
